Prologue Week
A week of book-loving experiences across the city, leading up to the main event on October 17. Mix, mingle, and get in the storytelling spirit early.
Bring a book you’re ready to pass along and swap it for something new to read. Also we’ll play vinyl records from the community (that includes you!), so bring one of your favorite vinyls to add to the playlist. All while enjoying coffee, chai, or matcha, from one of Atlanta’s favorite coffee shops, Portrait Coffee.
Grab your headphones and join us for a walk on the Beltline powered by your favorite audiobooks, in partnership with Atlanta Run Club, Just Add Honey, and Libro.fm. There will be first come-first serve 25 free audiobook giveaways.
Where music and stories meet. Beats & Books kicks off with a happy hour to connect with fellow readers and submit a song inspired by a book of your choice. Then it’s on to the interactive jukebox, where we randomly play submissions from the crowd. If your song gets picked, you’ll share the story behind it and why it resonated with you. Come discover new music, swap stories, and connect over the songs that sound like your favorite books.
Laughter, creativity, and storytelling collide in this improv-inspired evening of games and imagination.
An intimate evening for featured authors and festival ambassadors to come together, share stories, and celebrate the festival ahead. This dinner is a chance to connect over good food and great conversation before the festival kicks into full swing.
Grab a blanket and join us under the stars for a screening of Hocus Pocus, the Halloween classic everyone loves. Bring friends, settle in on the lawn, and end Prologue Week with a little magic.
